transpacific express - inaugural edition

september 14th 2019 - 11PM to 4AM

cafe resonance / 5175A parc avenue

For the first time ever on a Montreal dance floor, Transpacific-Express presents the inimitable sounds and atmosphere of Japanese disco and Korean hip-hop.

G BABY has just one requirement for dance music: bangers only. Expect fresh melodies, infectious grooves, and an all around feel good energy you can lose yourself to. Our party will have G BABY coming through with J-disco gems both well-loved and undiscovered.

G L O W Z I is an emerging DJ in Tiohtiá:ke’s (“Montreal”) local party scene. Having discovered the pleasure of vinyl-mixing, they particularly enjoy making people discover new music and/or re-discover classics, as well as making their bumbums shake to their afro-housy-funky mixes. A connoisseur of K-pop and K-hiphop since their high school days, we cannot wait for G L O W Z I to share their Korean and Japanese dance floor favourites with you.

Born and raised in China. Involved in dance floor activity since 2010. Emerging into the Montreal music scene only a few years ago. Show-booker for Phi Centre. Monthly resident DJ at the most fun web radio show n10.as radio. Co-host of DANCE or GTFO parties. People told me they see colors and glitters when they dance to my music. Welcome to my music bouncing house (⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)
